About SOVEREIGN
Australia's most rigorous privacy phone.
We do the technical work most providers skip — then we publish the proof.
The problem isn't that privacy phones don't exist. It's that most of them cut corners you can't see.
A device with a re-locked bootloader is meaningfully different from one without. A hardening profile that disables 2G baseband attacks is meaningfully different from one that doesn't. A phone with published, verifiable boot fingerprints is meaningfully different from one that asks you to take the seller's word for it.
SOVEREIGN was built around one principle: the difference is in the detail — and the detail should be provable, not promised.
We came to this from years in technology, security, and infrastructure work. We understand the attack surface. We understand what GrapheneOS actually does — and, critically, what it doesn't. And we saw that the Australian privacy phone market had a trust problem.
Most providers don't publish verified boot fingerprints. Most don't document their hardening profiles. Most don't tell you what apps they've installed or why. We do. Every device, every time — with the cryptographic receipts to back it up.
What sets us apart
Three decades of combined experience. Zero compromises.
Official GrapheneOS, unmodified
We don't fork it, patch it, or add our own layer on top. You get exactly what the GrapheneOS Project ships, with a verified, re-locked bootloader. The cryptographic fingerprint proves it — and we publish it publicly so you can check.
Verified and attested before dispatch
Every device is fingerprint-checked and attested before it leaves our hands. We publish verified boot fingerprints for every model we sell. If they don't match the GrapheneOS Project's own published values, don't trust us.
Australian-owned, Australian-operated
Configured, attested, and shipped from Australia under Australian Consumer Law. We're not a reseller of a foreign product. Every device is built to order by our team, to a signed specification, and supported by people who built it.
Hardened by design, not by marketing
2G disabled. USB-C locked. Auto-reboot enabled. Per-app network and sensor controls set. VPN kill switch on. Duress password configured. These aren't optional extras — they're defaults on every device that leaves our hands.
How we operate
Plain commitments. Kept in full.
We publish the proof.
Verified boot fingerprints for every model, publicly. Compare yours against the GrapheneOS Project's own values in under two minutes. If the numbers don't match, return it.
We build to order.
No pre-built stock. No shelf-sitting devices. Every phone is configured fresh to your tier after you order — which is why we don't accept returns once it ships. That's rigour, not a policy gap.
We stand behind the work.
Our reconfiguration service exists because security events happen — factory reset, triggered duress password, wrong PIN one too many times. We'll rebuild from scratch and return it next business day.
We're comfortable being compared.
A side-by-side with any Australian privacy phone provider suits us. Compare hardening profiles, verified boot documentation, fingerprint publication, and what's actually installed. We'll wait.
