GrapheneOS is designed so that a factory reset is total and irreversible — that's exactly what makes it secure. If your phone has been wiped, the configuration is gone. We can rebuild it from scratch.
What happens
When a wipe happens, everything goes.
A factory reset, the wrong PIN too many times, a triggered duress password — any of these will wipe the device completely. That includes your SOVEREIGN configuration, your apps, your accounts, and your data.
This is not a bug. It's the point. GrapheneOS is designed to be unrecoverable without your credentials — which means if it's wiped, it's truly wiped.
After a wipe, the phone will still have GrapheneOS installed. It just won't have your configuration. Our reconfiguration service puts it back the way it was.

We re-flash GrapheneOS if required, re-apply the full SOVEREIGN hardening profile, re-attest the device, and confirm the verified boot fingerprint.

We return the device via express post the next business day after we receive it. You'll get tracking details as soon as it ships.
Important: Reconfiguration is a standard service for a customer-caused wipe. It is not a warranty claim and is not covered by Australian Consumer Law consumer guarantees, which cover manufacturing defects — not accidental resets. If your phone arrives with a genuine hardware defect, contact us separately and we'll handle it under ACL.
